Before declaring a transmission chain, ask the data which dependencies survive conditioning. This operator draws that skeleton — and is strict about what an edge does NOT mean.

edges[] with partial correlations and the lambda used. Read as structure candidates: what survives here deserves a declared chain; what vanishes was probably a common-cause mirage.
